Out and about in the New
Year despite miserable and very cold weather.

| Standing in sleet and wind on the
harbour at
Tynemouth to take pictures of the waves. They were huge, although
the pix don't really demonstrate that. |
There were about thirty
cars parked,
with families eating chips and doughnuts, watching the sea. |

Same weekend - schnee! This was
about as much as I saw. Saw loads more on my travels, though -
fabulous views of snow-capped hills from M6 and A1. |
